TP928 is used for bench testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of B737-700, B737-800, Discrete Cabin Smoke Detector Assembly 474560 and 475571 Series, as manufactured by KIDDE AEROSPACE/UTC, as specified in ATA 26-10-79 and ATA 26-10-88 respectively. It is equivalent to OEM P/N 170819 ( aka M3000 Manual TEST SET). It is used in conjunction with cable part number C928, which connects the TP928 Tester to the Smoke Detector. Built 100% to OEM supplied schematics of ATA 26-10-79, Figure 9001. Installed in standard 19 wide, ABS enclosure.  Optional "Certificate of Conformance" is available as industry accepted "proof" of equivalency for FAA/EASA inspector review, if needed.
