Our Part Number: TP768

Test Panel TP768 is equivalent to OEM part number 170160. It is used for bench testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of B727/B737, B737-800, Smoke Detector Assembly 473597-5, -17, -18, -19, as manufactured by KIDDE AEROSPACE, as specified in ATA 26-10-66, ATA, 26-10-71, ATA 26-10-73. It is used in conjuction with cable part number C768, which connects the UUT to Test panel TP768. Standard 19" rack- mount configuration or 5.25" high, ABS enclosure as shown.. TP768 incorporates companion "Card Edge Connector Test Set", as used for testing the Smoke Detectors internal PCB. Optional "Certificate of Conformance" is available as industry accepted "proof" of equivalency for FAA/EASA inspector review, if needed. Request this at time of order. NOTE: TP768 will accomplish the Functional Testing of the Smoke Detector assembly and it's internal PCB only. In order to return to service a 473597-X Smoke Detector Assembly, as per the CMM, a Smoke Chamber Test Set or, Optical Smoke Box tester must also be performed on the 473597-X Smoke Detector Assembly. Be advised, we do NOT manufacture nor sell the SMOKE CHAMBER/Fixture CT210/211, nor the optional OPTICAL SMOKE BOX CT211-4/-5. These items would have to be procured from Kidde Aerospace.
