This Walter Kidde equivalent tester, OEM P/N 170301, is used for bench testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of CRJ-700 FIRE DETECTION AND EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT P/N 473889-04, manufactured by KIDDE AEROSPACE, as specified in ATA 26-11-85. It is used in conjuction with a 1KΩ Helipot and cable part number C783. White with black text is standard format. Other color combinations are possible. Standard 19" rack- mount configuration or metal enclosure available. Optional "Certificate of Conformance" is available as industry accepted "proof" of equivalency for FAA/EASA inspector review, if needed. Request this at time of order.
